YAY!!!

We are heading up north this weekend to Bison Ranch.  I am so excited.  My girls have never really played in the snow so we are going up to go tubing.  I haven’t been tubing in like 13 years.  It should be a blast.  If anyone knows where I can buy snow clothes let me know.

I’ve been doing a lot of thinking lately.  That’s not actually that new.  I always do a lot of thinking.  Somehow that doesn’t always mean I come up with the best answers for my dilemas though.  Weird! My latest thinking is about home schooling.  I am really considering doing this next year.  I have always…

I know it’s late.  I think that is when I get my best inspiration, when the whole house is quiet and I’m not thinking about who needs to be where and when.  In fact, I think if I went back to all of my posts and checked out the time they were done over half…

  1. Make sure you have sleds or tubes before you go up there. We tried for 2 hours to find a place to buy or rent them, and then finally gave up.

Have fun. I wish I could go back and see the snow again before it melts away.

  2. I go shopping for winter clothes at neighbor’s houses who have moved here from Utah! 🙂 We just borrow stuff since we need it so infrequently.

  3. Sounds like a fun weekend, enjoy yourselves in the snow! And Stephen, you probably hear this a lot, but you really have a good sense of humour:-)

  4. I am going to just go in hot pants and a pink mesh half shirt (a la Lt Dangle) when I go to the snow. I may wear sandals, I may not. Do not know how many people have left nails in the ground. May need to protect my feet.

  5. How about at Joes Outdoor and More, Target, Wal Mart, Nordstroms, The Outdoor Store, Fred Meyers, etc. They all sell winter clothing.
