YAY!!!

We are heading up north this weekend to Bison Ranch.  I am so excited.  My girls have never really played in the snow so we are going up to go tubing.  I haven’t been tubing in like 13 years.  It should be a blast.  If anyone knows where I can buy snow clothes let me know.

Ever since the first time I picked up a camera, I’ve been in love.  I don’t mean a little point and shoot.  I mean a really 35mm slr.  In particularly, my dad’s little old Yashika.  I don’t think they are even made anymore.  That little camera taught me to see things in a completely different…

It’s been a while since posting so I just decided to put up some random stuff that I hadn’t gotten around to. Antoinette had her sixth birthday in June and all she wanted to do was learn how to ride a horse.  She was so cute and really picked up quickly.

I haven’t posted on this blog for a very long time, I know.  So, I thought maybe I should start up again since I live so far from friends and family now. This really is a great place to live.  There is always something to do and yesterday we fit as much as we could…

  • Cowboy Dad

I was telling some little friends of mine that my dad was a cowboy and they were so excited.  It was funny.  I guess there aren’t as many as there once were.  I’ve been thinking a lot about Dad lately.  I actually had to get up and leave church Sunday because I couldn’t get control…

  1. Make sure you have sleds or tubes before you go up there. We tried for 2 hours to find a place to buy or rent them, and then finally gave up.

Have fun. I wish I could go back and see the snow again before it melts away.

  2. I go shopping for winter clothes at neighbor’s houses who have moved here from Utah! 🙂 We just borrow stuff since we need it so infrequently.

  3. Sounds like a fun weekend, enjoy yourselves in the snow! And Stephen, you probably hear this a lot, but you really have a good sense of humour:-)

  4. I am going to just go in hot pants and a pink mesh half shirt (a la Lt Dangle) when I go to the snow. I may wear sandals, I may not. Do not know how many people have left nails in the ground. May need to protect my feet.

  5. How about at Joes Outdoor and More, Target, Wal Mart, Nordstroms, The Outdoor Store, Fred Meyers, etc. They all sell winter clothing.
