Today is my daughter’s 9th birthday.  I can’t believe how much she has grown in the past year.  She has not only grown in height, but in strength, modesty, integrity, and all other areas as well.  I feel incredibly blessed to have her in my life. We took a Mom/Netter date yesterday to celebrate.  All…

So Megan and I went to a great show on Tuesday.  You guessed it, So You Think You Can Dance.  It was a blast and I can’t believe I got up at 7am after not getting home til 2am the night before.  Since I am at my mom’s house I am not putting up a…

Alisa tagged me back in December to do this and, as you all could tell, I haven’t been very good at blogging lately.  Since I am trying to get better at it I decided I better follow through as a good friend should.  (Yes that was for all those whom I might tag, because I…

Yesterday was the first dance class for my girls. They were so excited! We even went to parent/teacher conferences dressed in their dance clothes. I was nervous, based on past experience, that they would even get the nerve up to go. I’ve been fooled by innocent excitement before and spent many mornings sitting by a…

Ok, here is a 2 for 1. I have been asked a few times where ducklips came from. Emily also wanted to hear some Kasmir stories. Well, this is all one and the same. Most of you know that Kas was around for almost 4 years before we had the girls. Everything in Steve’s…

So today has been very full and I thought maybe I should write it all down. I noticed the other day that I have a tendency to forget things. Kas wanted me to tell him stories from when he was a “kid”. I guess he is grown up now. Well those of you who know…

  2. Elise,
I got your comment on my blog. It is good to hear from you. Looks like you’ve been having fun. It’s amazing this blogging thing. It’s great to catch up with people and I’m glad to see you’re well.

  3. Elise!
So good to hear from you! I saw you on Amy’s site the other day, and checked in on you via your blog. It sounds like you are doing well, and I love all your pictures. Some times it seems like it’s been along time, but at other times, CHS seems like just yesterday! Time flies! Do keep in touch.

  4. Elise, you are such a brat. It is a good thing that photo is kinda blurry. It was a fun puddle walk for sure.

  5. Joe and I go for puddle walks every time it rains. We’ve been doing it ever since he could walk.

    I love the pictures.

  6. Ian and the boys put on their swim suits and played in the rain. I thought they were insane. The puddle walk looks more my style.

  7. Amy, it would kill anyone to have fun once in a while. My kids were severely punished for having fun. How dare they have fun, they should be doing chores in the Gingerbread house. Then after that is done, they need to plant the garden and the beanstalk. But no, they had fun, and now they will not leave the house evermore.

  8. How fun to have such an awesome fam!! I’m with amyf…I need to loosen up and have more fun too!

About geocaching…go to http://www.geocaching.com. they have the best website that tells you all about it and where to go and all the fun stuff. you just give them your email to register for free to get the exact coordinates of the cache. Your kids would love it! Let me know if you do it. I have friends in Chandler who have done it and said they love it.

  9. how fun! I think I need to loosen up and do those kinds of things more often. It wouldn’t kill me to have a little fun once in a while. 🙂

  10. first of all thank you for the pic just for me, but everyone else feel free to look at it as well. The funny thing is the horse is totally peeing behind Reuben.
