In Futurama, owls have replaced mice and rats as the pests of the world. And out here in the Bogle Compound, the owls rule. They have swept down at megan's dog Royal. Well, you'd fit right in out here... but do you party for 3 weeks??? That's about how it is out here in Louisville. Kickoff is a huge fireworks show on the river (literally - on barges - on the river), and there's a TON of festivities for about 3 weeks until the Derby.. It's a HUGE deal out here. hahah.
