As you can see with this comment, and the admin comment, there is a small picture before the comment, and that is called an avatar. There is a service, called Gravatar, which allows you to sign up an email address and associate that email address with an image. You can get that at http://en.gravatar.com/ This way, any site that uses the gravatar plugin (and most sites now allow that), when you post a comment, it automatically loads that image, or avatar. Thus a <strong>G</strong>lobally <strong>R</strong>ecognized <strong>Avatar</strong>, or gravatar.
