So tired
Jan 8
today we released the new site for where I work. It is finally done and it actually has some content. You can look at it if you go to www.ciscolearning.org (which by writing this, should make a link for you suckerheads who are too lazy to copy and paste that URL yourself). It represents a ton of hours spent working on it, redoing some of it, and hours of trying to explain why a certain thing would not work. But it is done now and I am off to another project that will take up countless hours.

School starts tomorrow! I am definitely ready for some routine and a steady bedtime around here. We just had FHE and now Kas is reading his sisters a bedtime story. I love that.
For FHE tonight we made some goals, family and individual goals. One of Kas’ was to finish speech this year. To accomplish this, he is going to read out loud every night. He already reads at night, but not out loud. I was watching The Notebook the other night and when Noah’s dad says that Noah used to stutter so he made him read poetry, I thought what a great idea. I think I will start assigning Kas some fun poetry, but for now he is reading stories from the Friend to his sisters and I think that is fabulous.
Antoinette decided she wanted to Choose the Right more because she didn’t think she did a very good job of it last year. Those are her words, not mine. So, she is wearing her CTR ring and CTR shield necklace she made in primary to bed with her tonight. She really is a funny girl.
Zo said she loves everybody in our family and Brecken and Karsten and Natalie. Sorry Tom, Steve kind of helped her understand better what a goal was before she got to your name. So then she made a goal to clean up after herself more and not leave it all for Momma or Kas to do for her.
I made a goal to read the Doctrine and Covenants all the way through. I know, I was supposed to do that when I was 11. I even was really bad and said I did. (I’m so sorry Diane.) I’ve actually felt bad about that for a really long time. I’m sure I read most of it on my mission, and in Seminary, or Institute. I just have never read it all the way through, cover to cover and I really want to do that.
I will let Stephen share his goal w/ you all if he wants to.
We also set some family goals to work on. Better family scripture habits, a more peaceful home, a cleaner home (kids doing dishes.Woohoo!), and more organized to move when the time comes. Don’t worry, we don’t really know when or where yet, but Stephen finishes school in May. Another big Woohoo! This has been 7 years in the making. He has worked so hard, but that is a whole other blog.
Here are some pictures just for fun of the girls holding their little cousin Catcher last night.
You know the b-day saying:1year older and wiser too,but for me it’s:3 in. bigger and weirder too,so don’t make me crazy!

New Year, New Blog
Jan 3
My wonderful husband, whom I just talked up in my last blog, has made a great family blog site for us. I am so excited about this blog. Kas has starting blogging and so has Stephen’s dad. Steve always has had a blog, but now I think he will do some fun things here.
Our New Year started out w/ a bang, continued w/ not much more than a mild hum, and then (at least mine) has fizzed. I got sick yesterday w/ a vengence, a bad cold and stomach flu. Luckily today I am on the upswing, and I’m sure by tomorrow I will be ready to start off the new year in style.
We started at Mo’s house for Emma’s b-day. There I took my favorite picture of Brecken of the season.
Here are some other fun pic’s from Emma’s party.

Then we went to the Coria’s to ring in the new year. Monique graciously kept Kas and Antoinette at her house to play with their cousins while Zo and I went to pick up Stephen to go to the Coria’s. We celebrated with Cuba and left to get kids to bed early.
In the morning, Zo said she wanted to go to Olive Garden for breakfast. We went to Paradise Bakery instead and had a nice quiet breakfast before most of the city was awake.

Over all the year has been good, other than getting sick. School starts again next week and it’s time to get back into some routines and maybe start some new ones.
For the Christmas of 2oo7 my family and I got a Nintendo Wii. My 2 video games for the Wii are Super Paper Mario and Mario And Sonic At The Olympic Games. I don’t know about you, but I think the Wii is FUN!
My First Blog
Jan 3
I have joined the 21st Century and because of my coolest kid, I am here.
Even though I have caused Steve much frustration with this techno babble stuff, for some reason he continues to try and get me up to speed. I think he (Stephen) is a closet masochist.
Finally . . . .
Jan 1
So I did some stuff that Elise has been asking. She has been asking why not get a site on line. So I had a site built, and on line for quite a while. It fizzled. So did the next few versions of the site. The last version of the site was ok, but it wasted resources bad, and the image gallery I had up became very temperamental, and then I had to reload it. However, it still did not help.
Oh well, I finally said “Fine, the last few sites have gone down the drain, so I am just going to use WordPress as the base and let her run with that”. So I did. I themed it up and then added a few plugins. Now it is here.
But there is more to learn and do for her, and then start to post. Plus, I set up a place for Kas to post as well. So now he can do some posting stuff as well, and then be able to get Boston and Mason’s blogs as well.
It is here now, and I may post as well in the future, but there is not much more for me to say, except that drivers in the Phoenix Metro area SUCK. That is right you stupid sucks, you suck!
Welcome
Jan 1
Have fun with the new site. . . .
